The State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan will hold an annual workshop on changes in the tax system of the country at Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex on January 15-18.
At the event, tax authorities will answer questions of taxpayers about additions and changes in the Tax Code of Uzbekistan, as well as some tax reforms introduced recently, the committee said.
It should be recalled that earlier, on December 20, 2018, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chaired a video conference meeting on the full implementation of the new tax policy concept into practice.
In accordance with the document, starting from January 1, 2019, the types of taxes were reduced from 19 to 15. The tax rate on corporate income was reduced from 14 to 12 %, and the tax on profits in the form of dividends and interest - from 10 to 5 %.
