In due time, a criminal case was initiated against the ex-banker under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. As the head of Public Relations and Legal Information of the Prosecutor General’s Office Surayyo Rakhmonova confirmed to Kun.uz, the preventive measure was changed to a subscription of a letter of appropriate behavior thanks to the sincere repentance of the accused, full compensation for the harm caused by him, as well as the initiative to cooperate with the investigation.
It should be recalled that in March 2010, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan revoked the license of the private commercial bank Alp Jamol Bank.
