President departs for Germany
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on January 20 at the invitation of Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel, left for the Federal Republic of Germany on an official visit, the press service of the head of state said.
In Berlin, the President is scheduled to meet with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Chancellor Angela Merkel and Chairman of the Bundestag Wolfgang Schäuble.
Following the meetings and negotiations, it is planned to sign agreements in the field of economics, finance, investment, innovation, science and technology, education and culture.

It should be reminded that on January 17-18, the president paid a visit to India and took part in the IX International Investment Summit "Vibrant Gujarat - 2019".
In 2019, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, Japan, Bulgaria, Belarus and several other countries.
