Record amount of fines were collected from drivers over the weekend
In Tashkent, drivers paid over 721 million soums fines for the past two weekends, the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent city reports.
According to the press service of the police department, over the weekend, during joint activities of employees of the traffic department of Tashkent and representatives of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement, it was revealed that 1,590 drivers did not pay fines for traffic violations in the established 60-day period. The total amount of fines paid by debtor drivers amounted to 516,150,580 soums.
In general, over the past two days off, the state budget was remitted 721,656,275 soums by 2,528 drivers who violated the Traffic regulations.
