Namangan City project to be implemented in cooperation with South Korean Dongil Construction
A business delegation led by the Chairman of the South Korean company Dongil Construction Koh Jae Il visited Namangan region, UzA reported
Within the framework of the meeting held at the regional khokimiyat with members of the delegation consisting of managers and specialists of major construction and design companies of South Korea, views were exchanged on strengthening trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two countries and opening of new opportunities.
“Large-scale activities are being carried out in Uzbekistan for ensuring prosperous life of people,” says Namangan region’s khokim H. Bozorov. “In particular, housing construction has expanded. Namangan city’s general plan is being revised, Namangan City project is planned to be implemented in the regional center. Of course, in this case, we will use best international practice and are ready to cooperate with leading companies”.
“President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s great attention to socio-economic reforms serves as an incentive for us to cooperate with Uzbekistan,” says Koh Jae Il. “For fourteen years, we have been implementing large projects in Kazakhstan, and seeing changes in your country, we decided to cooperate with Uzbekistan. We have experience not only in housing construction, but also in construction of complex engineering structures. We would be glad to sign an agreement, and we can contribute to development of urban construction in Namangan”.
Following the meeting, members of the delegation got acquainted with construction of Afsonalar Vodiysi culture and recreation park, apartment houses in Yuksalish makhalla of Namangan city and Namangan City project.
