Ex-Deputy Secretary General of SCO takes a post at MFA

On February 12, 2019, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov chaired an extended meeting of the Foreign Ministry Board, the press service of the MFA reported.

During the meeting Abdulaziz Kamilov introduced the newly appointed head of the Department for Cooperation with Countries in Eastern, Southeastern Asia and Oceania.

Aziz Nasirov, former Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, was appointed to this position.
