Mother attempted to sell her second-grader son for 20 million soums in Surkhandarya
In Surkhandarya region, a mother tried to sell her son, a second-grader, for 20 million soums, Kun.uz correspondent reported referring to the press service of the regional police department.
According to law enforcement officers, on February 1 of this year, a resident of Termez city appealed to the internal affairs bodies with a statement that she got acquainted with a woman. She told her that she plans to sell her child for 25 million soums and she is looking for a client.
Law enforcement bodies detained her while she was selling the child for 20 million soums.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the woman under Article 135 (human trafficking) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
