Tashkent region budget to receive extra 675 billion soums thanks to tax reforms
Additional revenues to the budget of the Tashkent region in 2019 due to innovations in the tax system will amount to 675 billion soums. This was reported on the website of the State Tax Committee.
One of the main directions of the concept is the transfer of enterprises with an annual turnover of (revenue) over 1 billion soums or the ones that reached the established threshold during the year to pay the generally established taxes.
Initially, there were 1,491 such businesses in the Tashkent region. After a full inventory, their number reached 2,112. Of these, 366 enterprises are value added tax payers, 1,638 are standard VAT + 20% rate payers, 108 are business entities with an annual turnover of less than 1 billion soums and voluntarily transferred to the payment of VAT.
In addition, the transition to the payment of value added tax was provided for 221 private entrepreneurs. All these measures will bring extra 675 billion soums to the budget.
