Now in Uzbekistan, if there is a debt for the consumed electric energy, household consumers will need to pay a penalty of 0,1% (but not more than 50% of the amount of the overdue payment) to territorial electric network enterprise for each day of delay, Uzbekenergo reports.
The accrual of interest is made from the amount of the up-to-date debt of the household consumer after taking records of electricity metering devices and making recalculations.
It should also be noted that prepayments will also be taken into account in the prescribed manner, starting from the 11th month following the settlement period.
