Bpifrance to finance projects in textile industry of Uzbekistan

The State Investment Bank of France Bpifrance is ready to finance joint projects in the textile industry of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Association “Uztukimachilik” reported.

On February 26, the Association “Uztukimachilik” held a meeting with a delegation of the State Investment Bank of France Bpifrance headed by Regional Director Emmanuel Breschard with participation of French Ambassador to Uzbekistan Violaine De Villemeur.

“The French side has expressed interest in investing joint projects in Uzbekistan. Mr. Breschard proposed to finance projects in the textile sector. In particular, they talked about the supply of French technologies and equipment to the Uzbek market,” the press service noted.

Following the meeting, preliminary agreements were reached on attracting major companies and financial institutions in France to implement joint investment projects in the textile industry.
