Kamilov discusses future of Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan - Iran – Oman transport corridor with Omani FM
On March 3, 2019, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, within the framework of his working visit to Qatar, made a brief transit stop at the international airport of Muscat, the press service of the MFA reported.
There in Muscat Kamilov held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Yusuf bin Alavi.
During the talks, the sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
The Foreign Ministers exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in the field of transport and transit, stressed the importance of agreements on the transport corridor Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan - Iran - Oman.
