Uzbekistan eyes to open representative offices in large seaports

Uzbekistan plans to open representative offices in large seaports. This was reported in the roadmap concerning further development of passenger and freight traffic.

In particular, proposals will be made to the Cabinet of Ministers on the establishment of representative offices, front offices and stabilization companies at the ports of the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, the largest ports in the Persian Gulf basin, as well as on the transboundary sea ports.

Implementation of this project is scheduled for before June 1, 2019. Responsible executives are the Ministries of Foreign Trade, Foreign Affairs and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
