New Deputy FinMin of Uzbekistan appointed
Yorkin Tursunov is appointed Deputy Finance Minister of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry reports.
Tursunov was born in 1965 in Samarkand. He began his career in 1990 in the city administration of Kattakurgan, Samarkand region. From 1993 to 2006, he worked at the Samarkand and Navoi khokimiyats.
In 2006-2012, Tursunov was Deputy Minister of Finance and from 2012 to 2016, he worked as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
In March 2018, Yorkin Tursunov was appointed Executive Director of the Extra-budgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance.
