Man carrying “Tramadol” tablets detained in Surkhandarya
In Surkhandarya region, officers of the customs department have timely eliminated the infringement of customs legislation, the press service of the State Customs Committee reports.
In particular, at the railway checkpoint “Boldir”, the citizen Kh. Z. came to Uzbekistan on a passenger train. He was suspected by customs officials and was inspected as per the established customs legislation. As a result, it was found out that the passenger was hiding 20 capsules of Tramadol 50 mg, included in the list of restricted drug substance in Uzbekistan, in his pockets.
A criminal case has been initiated on the case. Investigative actions are underway.
