“One should work at least 123 days in Uzbekistan to buy an iPhone XS mobile” – Picodi.com analysts

On the eve of the upcoming spring presentation of Apple's new products, Picodi.com analysts decided to compare the cost of the latest Iphone in various countries around the world.

Urgency and at the same time, irony of the study lies in the fact that as a unit of measurement the ratio of average salary in the country to working days was taken.

One could safely assume that the most adequate ratio of price and salary is observed in the United States, because the pricing policy is formed primarily in this country and for the residents of this country. Nevertheless, residents of the most developed countries of Europe and the UAE may easily buy a new Apple product. So, in order to buy a new Iphone Xs in Switzerland, you need to work 5.1 days, and in Norway and Denmark – 7 with a “tail”. The United Arab Emirates were also in the top: the money earned in 7.6 days is enough for the latest generation smartphone. In the United States, it is necessary to work hard for 8.4 days.

The situation in Kyrgyzstan is as follows: the official price of an Iphone XS 64 Gb is assumed that a working person will have to work for it for more than 113 days, in Uzbekistan – more than 123, and in Tajikistan and more than 220 days. This is in view of the fact that it is not necessary to spend money on clothes, food, utilities and other “trifles” of life. In Kazakhstan, this figure is less – 86 working days.

Most eurozone countries were in the middle of the ranking. In Austria, Germany, Finland and France, it is needed to work about 10.5 days. Residents of Spain, Italy, Cyprus and the UK can count on less than 20 days of work. In Greece and Portugal, this figure is about 27 days. The costs for iPhone Xs in Mexico, China, Argentina and India are much more tangible – from 50 to 60 workdays. The rating is closed together with Tajikistan, the Philippines and Ukraine (almost 157 and 137 days, respectively).

The study was based on published prices for new Apple products, as well as data on average wages available in the official statistical sources of each country. Analysts divided the monthly payment by the average number of working days in the month – 21.
