State Tax Committee comments on fake Facebook page of the Committee’s Chairman

When registering the fake Facebook page of the Chairman of the State Tax Committee (STC) of Uzbekistan Behzod Musayev, a telephone number registered in London were used.

“The study of fake accounts created on the Facebook social network under the name of the chairman of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan Behzod Musayev showed that a telephone number registered in London was used to register it,” the committee’s press service reported.

In connection with these circumstances, the management of the STC appealed to the leadership of Facebook to close false accounts, discrediting the authority and damaging the reputation of the STC chairman.

A comment on behalf of Musayev appeared on the Facebook page of BBC. The STC said that this page is unreal and has no relation to the chairman.
