Minister of Poverty Reduction and Employment Behzod Musayev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan Yusuf bin Salih al-Jahra al-Utaibi.
The parties discussed the issues of effective implementation of the “Agreement on cooperation in the field of employment of workers” signed between the governments of the two countries on August 17, 2022 in Jeddah.
It is noted that from September 4, new flights will be made by Saudi Arabia for Uzbeks going on the Umrah pilgrimage. This creates wide opportunities for citizens who want to work in this country.
At the meeting, a technical committee consisting of officials of the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment and the Labor Migration Agency under its authority was formed to study the opportunities and demands of Saudi employers, and it was agreed to start working as soon as possible.
It was also said that it is appropriate to organize the arrival of representatives of Saudi Arabian employers and recruiting companies to Uzbekistan.
