Repatriation of investments from Uzbekistan amounted to $1.194 billion in 2018
In 2018, repatriation of investments from Uzbekistan amounted to $1.194 billion, which is considerably higher compared to 2017 ($779.8 million), the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said.
According to the CB, payments to foreign investors amounted to $1.03 billion in 2018 within the framework of product sharing agreements. In 2017 this figure was $524.4 million.
In 2018, $166 million was directed to the repayment of debts from the parent companies, a year earlier it accounted for $255.4 million.
Earlier, information on Uzbekistan's external debt was disclosed ($17.3 billion).
