Epsilon brings daily gas production in Uzbekistan to 1 million cubic meters
The American company Epsilon Development Company about to bring daily gas production in Uzbekistan to 1 million cubic meters thanks to industrial gas inflow in three more fields.
“A commercial flow of natural gas was obtained at once in three fields - Chigil (well #2), Khujum (well #2) and Shimoliy Girsan (well #6) of the Kultak-Kamashi investment block. After a well overhaul, the average daily flow rate is 200-250 thousand cubic meters of natural gas from each well,” the company said.
Earlier it was reported that in early March 2019, the company received a commercial flow of gas at two wells of the Talimarjan field with a total volume of 450 thousand cubic meters.
“Thus, it is expected that from April 6, the total volumes of hydrocarbons produced by the company will amount to 1 million cubic meters per day,” the company noted.
Given this, Epsilon is expanding the local gas pipeline infrastructure at an accelerated pace by building additional pipelines. Previously produced gas is sent to the domestic market.
At the same time, Epsilon continues exploration work on the Kultak-Kamashi block and is developing the Shimoly Girsan, Talimarjan, Devkhona, Chigil, Nazar-Khuduk, Ernazar and Khujum deposits.
It should be noted that work has been carried out at 12 production and exploration wells since February 2019. During this period, 465 workers as well as engineering and technical personnel have been employed in the company's fields.
