Former advisor of Tashkent’s khokim, head of “IPPODROM” accused of numerous crimes
According to a source of UzNews.uz in law enforcement bodies, the city’s court on criminal proceedings is currently considering a case against 23 former executive officials of the capital’s markets, who are charged under dozens of articles of the Criminal Code.
There is also former adviser to the khokim of Tashkent Rovshan Abdumajitov among defendants. He is accused of extortion, misappropriation and abuse of power.
In addition, the son of Rovshan Abdumajitov – Bekzod was brought to the criminal case as an accused.
In the framework of this case, the former director of the “Toshkent sayohat servis” M. Muminov was also charged. Jamalov Sadriddin is accused of illegal possession of weapons, ammunition and explosives under Article 248 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that Uktamjon Otaboyev took the place of Dilmurod Mirtadjiyev who previously headed the JSC “Trading market Chilonzor”.
According to the official representative of the Prosecutor General's Office Surayyo Rakhmonova, part of the filed case is still under investigation.
