25 billion soums to be allocated in 2019 for supplying rural population with natural gas

On April 5, a press conference was held with participation of the leadership of JSC Uztransgas. 

During the event, information on natural gas supplies carried out by the JSC Uztransgaz within the framework of the “Obod qishloq” (“Prosperous village”) program in 2018 and allocation of gas to the population in 2019 was provided. 

According to the information, in 2018, 859 km of gas pipelines were rehabilitated to improve natural gas supply in villages within the framework of the “Obod qishloq” program, 404 km of gas pipelines were dismantled and 82 gas distribution points were commissioned, and also 2021 gas distribution points were inspected.

In addition, 62,003 liquid gas balloons were distributed in places.

It is determined that in 2019, 709 km of gas pipelines will be repaired and 34,870 gas cylinders will be delivered to families.

For these purposes, it is planned to allocate 25 billion soums, Kun.uz correspondent said.
