According to a press release from the Ministry, greenhouse farms are allowed to use natural gas as long as they make the required payments, with no limitations on the supply. This follows a presidential decree on "Additional Measures for Stimulating Greenhouse Farming," which ensures uninterrupted natural gas provision to greenhouse operations that comply with payment terms.
The Ministry emphasized that greenhouse owners must make advance payments for the natural gas supply. From October to December, a 50% prepayment is required, with the remaining balance due by the end of each month. Starting from January, the payment system will transition to a 100% monthly prepayment.
The clarification comes as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to support and stimulate the greenhouse sector, ensuring reliable access to energy resources for agricultural production throughout the year.
