Changes to the order of enrollment in higher military educational institutions introduced

Changes to the Regulation on procedure for admission to Higher Military Education Institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan were registered at the Ministry of Justice.

According to the ministry's telegram channel, candidates wishing to be enrolled in higher military education institutions had to submit a reference letter from the place of residence and information about the number of family members along with a series of documents to the Defense Department.

According to the changes, this requirement was canceled.

Candidates who are now studying (working) should only submit referrals presented by educational institution (workplace). Applicants, who do not work (not studying), are not required to submit these documents.

For reference: admission to the higher military education institutions is carried out according to the Order of the Minister of Defense, approved in compliance with the maintenance plan of the President of Uzbekistan, on the order of defining admission quotas for military higher education institutions.

In order to qualitatively supplement the quota of cadets of higher military education institutions:

military-professional direction;
initial selection;
military-professional selection;
a complex stage-by-stage selection will be carried out.
