Fraudster who made false promise to help with enrollment in the University of Law detained while taking $11,000 in bribe

In accordance with an appeal of citizen M. T., employees of the Chilanzar district department held pre-investigation inspection, the press service of the Prosecutor-General's Office reports.
Reportedly, citizen M. G. received $11,000 fraudulently from citizen M. T. in 2018 and promised that his alleged high-ranking contacts would help him with the enrollment in the Tashkent State University of Law.
A criminal case has been instituted against M. G. under relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It is noted that the investigation is underway.
