Conscripts take an oath of loyalty to Uzbekistan in Registan square

In Samarkand city, a group of conscripts who joined to perform military duty at the Samarkand Garrison military unit took a solemn oath at the Registan Square.
In this regard, an event was held in which regional governor of Samarkand Erkinjon Turdimov, Commander of Central Military District Armed Forces, Colonel A. Saidov and others delivered speeches. They emphasized the fact that the national army of Uzbekistan meets the modern requirements, conditions created for servicemen, and the combat readiness and capacity of our military forces are capable of ensuring the inviolability of borders, UzA reported about this.
“Military service is a duty of every man,” a conscript Nizom Mamajonov says. “It is great honor for us to take a military oath at the tremendous Registan Square, which is an invaluable legacy of our ancestors to fulfill this duty.
The soldiers who took military oath at the Registan Square were given the presidential gifts – “Temur's orders” and “History of Uzbekistan”.
