Native of Tashkent Rano Juraeva appointed Director General of S7 Space

Rano Juraeva was appointed Director General of the LLC S7 Space. This was decided by the Board of Directors of the company in connection with the expiration of powers of the former Director General Sergei Sopov, the press service of the holding company reports.

Prior to her appointment, Rano Juraeva headed the “Center for Ground-Based Space Infrastructure Operation” (TsENKI) of Roskosmos for several years.

She also worked on development of transport industry projects, in particular, implementation of the e-Freight standard in air cargo at the Civil Aviation Innovation Center, and she led the aviation sector of Basic Element Holding. As a business development director at Airport Management Company Ltd. She was engaged in implementation of projects for development of the Domodedovo airport complex.

“For more than 20 years, the S7 Group has shown stable and successful competitiveness in one of the most complex technological types of business - domestic and international air transport. I believe that such a bright and ambitious team can shoulder a responsible approach to implementation of the program. I hope that my many years of experience in civil aviation will help formulate the company's business strategy, and recent experience as director general of FSUE TsENKI will bring its implementation closer,” Rano Juraeva said.

S7 Group is the largest private aviation and space holding of Russia, uniting companies operating in the field of air transportation, maintenance, as well as in the use of space.

It should be noted that Rano Juraeva was born in Tashkent. After graduating from school, Ms. Juraeva, having passed the competition of 16 people per seat, entered the Leningrad Institute of Aviation Instrument Engineering.
