As a result of control and supervisory measures carried out by officials of the Rosselkhoznadzor Department in St. Petersburg, Leningrad and Pskov regions, import of fresh vegetable products from Uzbekistan were banned, the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor said on April 26.
According to the report, the ban is imposed on 21 tons of vegetable products including cabbage, cauliflower and radish.
It is noted that the reason for imposing a ban is the absence of product name and markings on some packages.
Currently, vegetables are placed in temporary storage in Shushari village.
