A mudflow blocks the river, forming a reservoir in Kashkadarya (video)
In the Kitab district of the Kashkadarya region, the mudslide cut off the Jinnidarya riverbed, local residents reported Kun.uz.
Mud flow occurred on April 27 following torrential rains.
As a result, a huge “reservoir” emerged which now threatens the population in the lower reaches. According to local residents, the water level is rapidly rising.
From the photos sent, one can see how the water reached the tops of the power line poles.
On the fact, Kun.uz sent a request to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
