In honor of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism, Victory Park will be built in Tashkent.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev declared this in his speech dedicated to the Day of Memory and Honor. According to the President, design and construction works have already begun.
“This park will be another practical embodiment of our admiration for the people's feat in that cruel war,” the President said.
It is noteworthy that the Museum of Glory will also be erected in the park, in the formation of which recommendations of veterans, scholars, creative intelligentsia and general public will be considered.
It should be recalled that on the Memory and Honor Day, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid flowers at the Sorrowful Mother Monument. An exhibition of military equipment was also held in Tashkent. Also, public festivities near the ice complex “Humo” Arena were organized.
