Illegally imported computers worth 169 million soums seized by customs officers
Customs officials of Uzbekistan prevented illegal importation of computer devices, Prosecutor General’s Office said.
Employees of the Zangiota district department of the Prosecutor General’s Office held an operational event together with customs officers of the Tashkent region.
“It was identified that citizen D. I., in agreement with a person named Erlan, residing in the Republic of Kazakhstan, imported foreign-made computer devices worth 169.3 million soums bypassing customs control. He was detained with material evidence when selling to citizen Yo. S. for 105.0 million soums in the territory of the Eshonguzar Mahalla of the Zangiata district,” the report reads.
On this fact, a criminal case was initiated against D. I. under relevant articles of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions are underway.
