New deputy khokim of Tashkent appointed
The first deputy khokim of Tashkent on economics and entrepreneurship issues has been appointed.
According to the press service of the capital's administration, Khotambek Shakirov became the first deputy khokim of the city of Tashkent. Prior to his appointment, he had served as deputy chairman of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan.
It should be recalled that on May 3, the former first deputy khokim of Tashkent Sherzod Khadjizadayev left his post. The reason for the dismissal was the fact that he had not implemented properly the programs of preferential loans for young families. In October 2018, Sherzod Khadjizadayev, who had worked as deputy chairman of the Central Bank since April 2017, was appointed first deputy khokim on the issues of economics and entrepreneurship.
Earlier, the press service of the capital's administration reported that former deputy khokim of the Tashkent region Alimardon Karshiyev became deputy khokim of the city of Tashkent on relations with public and religious organizations.
