Mirziyoyev, Erdogan discuss schedule of upcoming meetings on a telephone call

On May 15, a telephone conversation was held between President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“The heads of states heartily congratulated each other on the holy month of Ramadan and exchanged the best wishes,” the Uzbek leader’s press service reported.
The presidents of the two countries noted the consistent strengthening of friendship and strategic partnership, development of mutually beneficial trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
“The importance of comprehensive preparation for the first meeting of the Uzbek-Turkish Strategic Cooperation Council was particularly emphasized. The schedule of upcoming meetings at the highest level was considered,” the report says.
