Abdulaziz Kamilov receives Ambassador of UK, completing his mission in Uzbekistan

On 10 June, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Christopher Alan, completing his mission in our country.

According to the press service of the MFA, during the conversation, the parties discussed current issues of Uzbek-British relations and exchanged views on the prospects for the development of cooperation.

Special attention was paid to the practical aspects of Uzbek delegation’s participation in the upcoming First Global Conference on Freedom of the Media in London on July 10-11.

At the end of the meeting, the Minister thanked Christopher Alan for his efforts and fruitful work as an ambassador.

Christopher Alan, for his part, thanked the leadership of Uzbekistan and the Foreign Ministry for assisting in the effective performance of his duties as head of the British diplomatic mission.
