Gymnast Oksana Chusovitina won a silver medal at the Korea Cup international gymnastics tournament in Jeju, South Korea, the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan reported.
On June 19, Chusovitina earned 14,550 points in the vault and won the silver medal. Yo Song Zhong from South Korea occupied the first place and a bronze medal went to Alex Mareno from Mexico.
“Oksana Chusovitina presented a wonderful gift for her fans. At the prestigious tournament held in Korea, with participation of elites of the world gymnastics, Oksana won a silver medal,” the Uzbekistan Gymnastics Federation noted.
Reportedly, Chusovitina plans to take part in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, which will be held in the city of Stuttgart, Germany in October 2019.
