$2.1 million allocated for establishment of Ajou University branch in Tashkent
The government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution on additional measures to establish the Ajou University branch in Tashkent, the Ministry of Justice said.
In accordance with the decree, for the establishment of Ajou University in Tashkent, $2.1 million was allocated to pay for the implementation of the initial consulting work.
Buildings and facilities of Yashnabad Railway Professional College and Yashnabad Professional College will be transferred to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, for subsequent placement in this place of Ajou University in Tashkent.
Ajou University is a leading engineering university in South Korea established in 1973 and located in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province. Originally an engineering school, Ajou has undergraduate and graduate programs in the sciences, engineering, health care, business, social sciences, law and liberal arts.
