350 multi-storey residential buildings to be built in Tashkent in 2019

In 2019, 350 multi-storey residential buildings with 16,000 apartments will be built in Tashkent, Sputnik Uzbekistan reports.

As specified during a press conference in the Tashkent city administration, 159 houses will be built in the Sergeli district of Tashkent and another 45 houses, to be constructed in the “Uzar” district, will be given to families in need of social protection.

In the “Olmos” neighborhood, Yashnabad district, 11 new homes will be allocated for military families.

Over 90 houses will be allotted for families whose dilapidated housing was demolished.

New homes will be built with funds from the state budget and investments.
