Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan meet in Bishkek
On July 6, 2019, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who arrived in Bishkek to participate in the EU-Central Asia Ministerial meeting, held talks with the Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aydarbekov.
The heads of the foreign affairs agencies discussed the current state of Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations, ways to further strengthen and develop cooperation, and also exchanged views on the agenda of the 15th EU-Central Asia Ministerial meeting.
The sides noted with satisfaction that regular contacts at the highest level created a favorable atmosphere in relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, which makes it possible to jointly find mutually acceptable solutions on all issues of bilateral relations and interaction in the international arena.
The ministers also considered the schedule of upcoming meetings at various levels.
