In accordance with the order of the Prosecutor General, Akmalkhuja Mavlonov has been appointed prosecutor of the Namangan region, the press service of the supervisory authority reported.
Prior to his current appointment, Mavlonov served as Deputy Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan.
It should be recalled that the former prosecutor of the Namangan region Rashid Rakhmatov, who was appointed to the post on March 4, resigned from office on June 30. Rakhmatov was also Deputy Prosecutor General.
