Uztransgaz chairperson changes for fifth time in two and a half years
On July 23, a number of appointments took place in the structure of the Energy Ministry of Uzbekistan.
Bakhodir Sidikov retained his post as Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz.
Ulugbek Sayidov, who previously served as Uzbekneftegaz Chairman, was appointed head of JSC Uztransgaz.
Bakhodir Eshmuratov, a former Chair of Ustransgaz, became Chairman of the Board of JSC Hududgaztaminot.
It should be noted that Ulugbek Sayidov became the fifth head of Uztransgaz in the last two and a half years. In December 2016, then Deputy Prime Minister Ergash Shoismatov (now Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Tajikistan) was appointed to the leadership of the company, and in August 2017, Alisher Mustafayev became the JSC Chair.
On June 5, 2018, Sharifjon Tursunov started to work as the head of Uztransgaz, but after five months of service, he left office on November 23, and in December last year Bakhodir Eshmuratov began to head Uztransgaz.
