Abdulaziz Kamilov congratulates Dominic Raab on his appointment as UK Foreign Secretary

Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov congratulated Dominic Raab on his appointment as the head of the British Foreign Office, the MFA press service reports.

“It gives me great pleasure to congratulate you on your appointment as Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs. We know you as an outstanding politician, strengthening the UK’s role in the international arena.
 
The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is one of the key partners of Uzbekistan in Europe. I am confident that our joint efforts will serve the further development of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom,” the statement reads.

Dominic Raab has returned to the government after new Prime Minister Boris Johnson won the Tory leadership contest, He will replace Jeremy Hunt.
