Uzbekistan to develop youth tourism
Uzbekistan plans to develop youth tourism, the State Committee for Tourism Development said.
To attract young tourists, the country will develop recreation areas, improve infrastructure for young people.
To fulfill the tasks set, a new concept will be worked out.
“In order to attract young tourists to our country, we need to study their interests, and based on them, we create appropriate conditions, infrastructure facilities,” the statement reads.
The development of this concept will further diversify the types of tourism in the country, identify priority goals and objectives for actively attracting young tourists, further increase the flow of travelers, improve the quality of tourism services and create a tourism infrastructure.
It should be noted that average age of tourists coming to Uzbekistan was 60 in 2010. As of 2018 statistics, this figure dropped to 45.
