NAPM to introduce a system for monitoring implementation of investment projects
The National Agency for Project Management (NAPM) launches an automated information system “Control and monitoring the implementation of investment projects”, which allows to monitor timely and high-quality implementation of investment and regional programs, as well as infrastructure projects online throughout the country.
The NAPM reported that the developed system allows automating the processes of accounting, control and monitoring the implementation of projects, the timing, budget, goals and indicators, etc.
While the system is working in a test mode, the work is underway to connect the ministries, departments and business associations involved in the process of initiating, control and monitoring the implementation of projects, to the system.
Implementation of the system will allow to establish effective monitoring in real time, ensure the realization of projects on time and guarantee transparency in the development of investments, including foreign direct investment.
The NAPM notes that this will bring the project management institute in Uzbekistan to a new level, reduce associated costs and bureaucratic red tape.
