UZEX sells car number plates for more than 245 billion soums
Since the launch of the e-commerce platform “AVTORAQAM” at JSC UZEX, divisions of the Main Traffic Safety Department of the Interior Ministry have sold 50,000 car number plates worth over 245.0 billion soums. The average cost of one transaction was 5.0 million soums.
According to the resolution No.683 dated August 31, 2017 of the Cabinet of Ministers, legal entities and individuals are able to participate in the sale of vehicle number plates on the website avtoraqam.uzex.uz without participation of intermediaries, that is, directly through their personal cabinets. Registration will be fully responsible for the proper storage and security of login and password in the personal cabinet of legal entities and individuals purchasing the state number plate at an increased rate.
“In this regard, we ask all bidders not to use the services of intermediaries when buying car number plates through online auction, and not to disclose to the third party their personal information, including UZCARD plastic card information, login and password. Detailed video instructions on bidding for purchase of car number plates can be found on the website avtoraqam.uzex.uz,” the Republican Commodity Exchange reports.
