Commodity exchange sees significant growth in mobile number auctions

In the first half of the year, sales of mobile numbers on the commodity exchange doubled, Spot said citing UZEX.

In the first half of the year, 3,244 mobile phone numbers were purchased through the trading system mobilraqam.uzex.uz for a total of 13.1 billion UZS, which represents a twofold increase compared to the same period last year.

The most expensive mobile number was sold for 1.07 billion UZS. As a result of the auction, the lot's price increased more than fivefold.

In April, the commodity exchange signed a memorandum with the integrator Uzinfocom, providing for the organization of online auctions with domain names. According to UZEX, a website and trading mechanism are being developed for the launch of domain sales.

The trading platform's plans include the introduction of new auction modes for exchange trading, the digitalization of public procurement, and the development of mobile applications.
