Man misappropriating 2.5 tons of state oil a day detained in Bulakbashi district

In the Bulakbashi district of the Andijan region, illegal activities of cousins, residents of the “Sanoat” mahalla, has been discovered.

During three months, they dug a 16-meter trench under the ground towards the oil pipeline, passing across their street. They pierced a hole in the oil pipeline and connected it with a rubber hose. Thus, they began pouring the “black gold” into their homes.

The oil, flowing under the ground, was transported by a rubber hose to the neighbor’s house and filled a 3-ton tank that was buried underground. Buyers smuggled the oil fuel from there.

It is not yet known since how long these individuals have become “owners of an oil well”.

“It has been a month that we have been pouring 2.5 tons of oil out every day,” one of the offenders said.

Currently, an investigation is underway against these two individuals.
