SSS military servicemen receive state awards
Military servicemen of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan were presented state awards “for merits in strengthening defense capabilities, contribution to ensuring state security and the inviolability of borders, courage and selflessness in performing official duties, as well as ensuring peace and stability in the country,” UzA reports.
The event was held in honor of the 28th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s State Independence. The SSS leadership, veterans and military personnel took part in it.
The SSS Chairman, Lieutenant General Abdusalom Azizov congratulated all participants on Independence Day. In addition, on behalf of the President of Uzbekistan, he presented state awards to distinguished military servicemen.
