Abdulaziz Kamilov receives newly appointed Ambassador of France

Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador of the French Republic Isabelle Servoz-Gallucci, the MFA press service reports.

Accepting copies of her credentials, the minister congratulated the ambassador on her appointment and wished her success.

During the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in the further development of bilateral cooperation in such areas as politics, economics, tourism, culture and education.

The sides discussed prospects for increasing mutual trade and implementation of joint investment projects.

In the context of exchanging views on international and regional issues, the parties paid special attention to security matters.
