Murodjon Akhmadaliev KO’s Wilner Soto
Murodjon Akhmadaliev (7-0, 6), Rio Olympics bronze medal winner, scored an easy win over Wilner Soto (22-7, 12) in the 4th round of the bout, asianboxing.info reported.
Originally Akhmadaliev was penciled in to fight for the IBF and WBA “super” Super Bantamweight titles, before Danny Roman suffered an injury in training. Rather than take the night off Akhmadaliev just used Soto as a human punch bag en route to just latest win in what is likely to be a tune up for his eventual world title bout.
It should be recalled the in his previous fight on April 27, Akhmadaliev defeated Carlos Carlson in the opening bout of the Matchroom Boxing card.
