In Tashkent, a man, promising to help with the purchase of 16 cars, received $203 thousand from a citizen and misappropriated the money, the capital’s police department reports.
The 37-year-old citizen Sevara appealed to the internal affairs bodies asking to take measures against the 35-year-old Turdiali, who, from 2016 to 2018, received $203 thousand promising to help with the purchase of 15 Lacetti Gentra and 1 Malibu-2 car. The man did not fulfill his promise and spent the money on his needs.
Currently, a criminal case has been instituted on this fact under article 168 (“Fraud”) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
