Uzbekistan to host First Agrotouristic Festival “Anor”
On September 26-30, the First International Agrotouristic Festival “Anor” will be held in the Kashkadarya region, the Tourism Committee reports
Within the framework of the event, festivities on the occasion of harvesting pomegranates in the village of Varganza, Kitab district and the business forum “Invest in Kashkadarya” will be held. Also, visits of the festival participants to the sights of the Kashkadarya region, business meetings and signing of agreements, concert performances, award ceremony, demonstration of national clothes, “Ulok kupkari” national games and many others will be organized.
The festival will bring together representatives of ministries and departments, foreign partners and potential investors, entrepreneurs in the field of agriculture, representatives of tourism organizations and the media, residents and guests of the region.
Reportedly, there will be an Italian delegation of about 30 people headed by the Honorary Consul in Uzbekistan Vittorio Giorgi and the Mayor of Caserta in Italy among foreign guests of the festival.
Following the event, in order to strengthen economic, cultural and tourist cooperation between Uzbekistan and Italy, it is planned to sign a twin city Agreement between Shakhrisabz of the Kashkadarya region and the Italian city of Caserta.
